As you and your family look through your album for generations to come, I want my work to bring you back to the little moments that you might have forgotten. The ones you'll want to remember.
When you hire me, you're commissioning me not only to archive these emotions, but also to create art for your home. Images you will frame on the wall and place on the mantle forever. Pictures you will show your children, and your children's children
If you'll allow me, I would love to be a little bit more than just your wedding photographer. I would love to be a creative resource; someone to source for referrals and opinions surrounding the creative vision of your day. An art director if you will. I want your day and the photographs you remember it by to be even more beautiful than you can possibly imagine.
One thing that sets EJP apart is that you'll always receive prints of your photos. One, white bordered 4"x6" of each wedding image. I have such fond memories from childhood flipping through boxes of photos with my family. There's something magical about the tangible, and I love delivering your day this way.
You will also receive the high resolution images in an online gallery that is easily shareable. I think it is often easiest to make album and other tangible decisions after you get the photos. We'll set up another meeting after you have the images to decide what makes the cut into your beautiful book and what books make the most sense for you two and your families.
My style is nothing if not consistent, so be sure to peek around and look at several weddings to get a really good feel for what to expect working with me. My approach is friendly and conversational. I always want you to be comfortable, and the best way I've found to accomplish this is by moving as much as possible. I like to arrive about an hour before you get dressed to begin photographing your personal details (invitations, rings, flowers, etc.) and then capture a few getting ready candids.
Once you're both dressed I can either set up a first look or we can wait on your portraits together until after the ceremony. I'm happy to chat about when I recommend seeing each other before, when we get on the phone. We'll spend less than a quarter of the time I'm with you on formal portraiture, the rest of the time I'll be floating and photographing moments. I will also style and photograph your personal details and reception space.
